Summer Part One...

It has been forever since my last post...and so much has happened since then, so this might be a long one. In the last three months so much has happened, and we have seen God's faithfulness again and again. We worked at camp for four months and learned so much as we were stretched. We were blessed by God as He taught and revealed more about himself and showed us that we can't do it on our own, but when we do trust Him to work through us, He can do more than we can ask or imagine. I got the opportunity to work in the kitchen for five of the eight weeks of camp which was a new experience for me...cooking for 200 is a lot different than cooking for 4. It was in this that I realized once again that I needed to rely fully on God for strength and wisdom and He always came through...and He gave me so much joy in serving Him. It was a stretch to balance Rob & I both working and figuring out who would watch our girls, but in that, God brought so many wonderful people into our lives to walk alongside our girls and invest into their lives. We are so thankful for the wonderful summer that God gave us at camp and for all the things he taught us! We also enjoyed having Rob's sister and nephew come and visit us at camp for a week in July!
