Fall Fun

As summer came to a close, we were still waiting for God's direction as to where He wanted us next. We had a wonderful 14 months at camp and hope to still be involved there in the future! As we waited patiently, or maybe not so patiently, God opened a wonderful door for us to move to our friends' farm. We are really enjoying the space (inside and out)...we were able to unpack our belongings that had been in storage for over two years, into a great, six bedroom, three storey house! God has blessed us beyond what we could imagine. Joselyn is loving kindergarten and has a wonderful teacher. I am so thankful that she can go to a school with predominantly Christian teachers, where they say the Lord's prayer each morning and are taught values that line up with what we believe! Jena has also started going to preschool and is thriving in that environment with wonderful friends and a great teacher. They love living on the farm, playing outside with the "neighbor girls" who also live on the farm, the four dogs and many, many cats and kittens. They have also started skating lessons...it has been fun to watch them ~ they are naturals!!
Yesterday, some wonderful friends planned a housewarming party for us and as I reflected on the evening I was overwhelmed with how kind God has been to us, to provide us with wonderful, caring, Christ-following friends! Thank you Lord!!
