How did this past half a decade pass so quickly!!?? It's hard to believe that five years ago we were introduced to parenthood by this beautiful bundle of sweetness and energy! What a delightful five year old Joselyn as turned out to be!
~She is tenderhearted
~She is generous (she took Jena to the toy store and told her to choose a toy and she would buy it for her...and she did, she emptied her wallet onto the counter at Toys R Us to buy Jena the "Puppies in my Pocket" that she picked out)
~She LOVES babies (and they love her too...they can sense her nurturing nature)
~She LOVES animals...she enjoys helping Rob feed and water the horses here at camp and always makes sure "Rosco" our camp cat, has food to eat.
~She is a great helper. She is always willing to help and is a cheerful helper setting the table, clearing the table, helping to make lunch etc.
~She is an eager learner. She loves printing all her letters, asking how to spell words and writing special notes to people. She was so thrilled when she realized that she had grasped the concept of reading...sounding out the letters in a word to see how it sounds.
~She is excited to be five...to go to school in the fall, to lose her first tooth, to be "grown up!"
~She is organized and a great leader (although sometimes I have to remind her that she is not in charge of her sister or our family)
~She is spiritaully sensitive. She will often tell me that she was just talking to Jesus about something. I pray that her relationship with Jesus will continue to grow in such an intimate way!
Joselyn we are so blessed to have you in our family! We look forward to watching your God given personality and characteristics grow and develop in this coming year!

Happy 5th birthday! Josie's a wonderful child.
Caleb just turned 5 recently too and I can't get over the fact that it seemed like he was just a baby not too long ago. I am so blessed to have met you, Krista, at the baby group way back when we were 1st time moms to our 3 month olds. We've come a long ways! ;)

Josie is such a beautiful inside and out. You are so blessed to have a daughter like her. We miss being able to see her. Lots of hugs and kisses from us all!
