On Friday we went to the mall to see the petting zoo and to get our free pictures taken with the Easter bunny. We got their nice and early, but obviously not early enough because the whole city seemed to have the same idea (must be lots of Mennonites here...mention the word free and they all come flocking) and by the time we lined up we realized that there were 72 other kids in front of us...well, we decided it wasn't worth the wait and took our "own easter bunny picture" by standing beside the easter bunny. Then when we got home, the girls wanted to play "easter bunny" and Jena dressed up and Josie lined up the "kids" (their dolls and stuffed animals) to wait for their turn to sit on the easter bunny's lap. Then one by one, Josie took pictures of each animal and doll on Jena's lap. It was very cute!! It's amazing how observant children are...they take everything in!

I'm with you! I wouldn't have waited either! Great pictures though - such amazing imaginations they have. And you're right they are so ovservant! Much more than I think I give them credit for sometimes.

last year when i tried to get Kamryn even NEAR the Easter Bunny - it was not a pretty sight. :) and i'll admit - the Menno in me always makes me go to Lawson mall for Santa pics too - they are always free!! :)
i love seeing you at Mom's. i'm glad we still have a way to connect. and i really will take you up on a playdate soon! :)
